These boots are lightweight and my daughter absolutely loves them.They Keep her feet warm for Urban Upstate New York.I have seen a review stating that they did not keep their child's feet warm...Yeah that would apply if:- Your going on an outdoor expedition through the snow.- Constantly wading through snow that is higher than the boot itself.- Spending a long time outside when its miserably cold.Which you would be an idiot for doing any of the above to your child and having touched these boots.These are light weight, but they DO keep your kids feet warm and your kids will love them if your NOT an idiot.Excellent for:- Walking around urban or maintained areas.- Going to mall- Going grocery shoppingEssentially they are perfect for the occasional movement through mushy snow in order to get from you car to the indoors.Because they are so lightweight they are phenomenal for transitioning from the worst of climates to indoors.Full on Snow boots are typically:- Heavy.- Stiff and Rigid.- Ugly.- Are horrible for transitioning to use for walking through a mall, grocery shopping, going to the movies etc..This is why I absolutely love these boots:- My daughter loves wearing them so much she sometimes puts them on like house slippers.- Excellent transition boots!
